The Dubai opera was open with the first performance of Plácido Domingo. Sheikh Muhammad Bin Rashid announced the construction in March 2012. The launch was done on 31st August 2016.
1. Dubai Opera Sitting Capacity:
There is 2000 seats in Dubai Opera in the hall of Dubai Opera. The open hall is 1800sq meters when all the seats are displaced.
2. Dubai Opera Parking and Parking Charges:
The Dubai Opera previously provides the vault parking but this service is currently on halt because of the ongoing development. There is a free parking where you can park your car by yourself without any charges. This free parking is an underground parking. The paid parking, known as Green Parking. In this parking you will be charged AED 10 for first hour and AED 20 afterwards.
3. How to reach Dubai Opera:
You can use your own vehicle to reach Dubai opera or by Taxi or by Public Transport.
3.1. Dubai Opera by Taxi or by Own Car:
If a person is coming from Sheikh Zayed Road, take Exit 50 and then take first exit on the right side of Sheikh Rashid Boulevard. Follow the sign and you will reach the Dubai Opera. For parking use P2 or P3.
3.2. Dubai Opera by Public Transport:
By Dubai Metro, one can reach the Dubai Opera from two metro stations. If you leave metro red line from Burj Khalifah then you have to walk toward the Dubai Opera. The walk is about 25 minutes from Red line station of Burj Khalifah.
4. Where to buy tickets of Dubai Opera:
The Tickets of Dubai Opera is Available online at Dubai Opera website. More over one can also buy the tickets form Box Office. The Box office of Dubai open from 10 AM of morning to 9 PM of Evening. The location of Box Office is Opera Plaza on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard.
4.1. Must care of when you want to visit Dubai Opera:
The gates of Dubai Opera close 30 minutes before a show started. So one must arrive 30 minutes before a show starts. If a person come, late will not allowed entering in show until a break. Must bring the printed ticket with you or take the prints from Box Office. Home printed tickets those, which were purchase online, are also acceptable but tickets on mobile screen is not acceptable.
4.2. Dubai Opera Tickets Price:
Online ten tickets were purchase in one transaction. Above ten ticket one need to open a new transaction. The tickets price of Dubai Opera change with demand. If demand is higher, the price will go higher for that show. So must check prices online. The price for Dubai Opera tour is AED 75 for adult and AED 45 for children between 3-16 year of age.
The Exclusive Back Stage tour cost AED 175 per month for adult and AED 140 for children from 7 to 16. Age limit for this tour is 7 Plus only.

The Dubai Opera is known, for its best talented production and actors. The Hall host opera, ballet, concerts and traditional musical shows.

The Dubai Opera host a lot of cafes and restaurants where one can enjoy food. One can experience the food before or after the shows.

8. Dubai Opera Dress code:
There is no specific dress code for Dubai Opera. Suiting match the environment of opera so one can choose western formal dressing. Visitors must wear modestly and as per the basic culture of Dubai. Covering full face or Abaya is not requirement in Dubai, but your body must not be naked. It's a good idea not to show cleavage or thighs. Wearing Jeans or trousers with T shirt is ok.
