2. Dubai Museum Antiques Collection:
The Dubai museum consist of local antiques but also contain the antiques which were imported from around the world for the purpose of trade in ancient times. These includes the antiques from Asia, Europe and Africa. The museum have dioramas which highlight the life of Arab living in Dubai before the oil era.

Geographically Dubai Museum is located in Al Fahidi area, Bur Dubai. The total area of museum is 4000 squares meters.
Al Fahidi Fort is constructed as a square structure. On the three sides of fort there is towers constructed. Internal halls line three of the fort walls. One hall is at the main gate and houses the ticket office, while the others contain a collection of old weapons and arms from different historical periods along with a model of the city in 1820 AD. Traditional musical instruments are also displayed next to a video of folkloric music.

The entrance for galleries is located in the tower on the south western side of the fort. The first section of the Galleries displays the maps of old Dubai. When a person enter from the tower will have to cross the spiral stairs of the fort and then reach the first gallery of maps.

A video room which was updated in 2007 is located next to the maps room. This video is beautifully made to show the difference life of Dubai people before oil era and after oil era. Next to the video room dioramas of Pre-oil era is located.
4.3. Dubai Museum Deck, Mosque and Models:
The first thing found is deck of a dhow. After that there is retail shops which always fill with buyers and sellers. Going ahead in street one can easily find a mosque model and houses along with dates farms camels and other animals. In the last take one back 3000 BC to Al Qusais. Here are tombs, an excavated skeleton, and an archaeologist. All the way sounds, visual effects and electronic guides accompany the dioramas.

The Dubai Museum Tickets Price for the adult is AED 3 while for children under 6 is AED 1 only. The museum provide the free tourism Guidance to the tourists.

The Dubai museum timings on Saturday to Friday is 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM. While on Friday the timing of Dubai Museum is from 02:30 PM to 08:30 PM.

If one want to reach the museum from bus can use Ghubaiba or Fahidi bus stations nearby. One can also reach through the metro station of Ghubaiba or Fahidi.
8. Dubai Museum Dress Code:
The Dubai Museum do not have specific dress code, but it is good for one to follow the dress code of UAE. To get the more respect from the people of United Arab Emirates the female must cover their bodies from shoulders to knees. Covered T-shirts with full sleeves are also ok. In addition, very tight and/or low-cut t-shirts are also consider as offensive. Females wearing strappy tops may be in for a warning at Dubai shopping malls, or shopping centers. There is a risk of fine or police arrest if ones skirt is shorter then knees.
